Rust proofing and undercoating are the same job here, and what counts is where the product goes. Plenty of shops only spray what shows from underneath. We get it into the places rust starts:

Why it's once a year
FLUID FILM® is a lanolin-based film that never fully hardens. It keeps creeping into seams after it's sprayed, goes straight over surface rust, and won't crack and trap water the way a hard coating can. - How much does rust proofing cost in Port Huron?

The wash and frame flush and the annual touch-up are flat prices. Commercial vehicles and trailers are quoted per unit. You'll know the full price before you drop it off.
- How long does rust proofing take?
- About an hour for most vehicles, start to finish. Larger trucks and vans run a little longer.
- Do I need an appointment?
- Yes. Everything is by appointment, seven days a week, 9 AM to 10 PM. Send a quote request or call (810) 357-3023 and we'll set a time.
- Is FLUID FILM® rust proofing safe on a new vehicle?
- Yes, and it's the best time to do it, before the first winter. It doesn't affect any factory coating and it doesn't void a warranty.
- Does rust proofing work on a vehicle that already has rust?
- Yes. FLUID FILM® goes straight over surface rust and stops it spreading. Heavy scale gets knocked off first, billed by the hour. If the frame is badly gone, send a photo through the quote form and we'll tell you whether it's worth doing.
- How often does it need to be redone?
- Once a year, in the fall. The annual touch-up is a flat price for a vehicle we've already done.
